iChat and Facebook chat

I just discovered you can use iChat to Facebook chat.

Here’s how you set it up:

  1. Add a new Jabber account.
  2. The Account Name should be your Facebook username followed by @chat.facebook.com
  3. Enter your Facebook password.
  4. Under Server Options, enter chat.facebook.com for the Server and 5222 for the Port.

That’s it. This is by far the best way I’ve used Facebook chat.
