More people should be using Safari. It’s the best browser out there. There’s a nice plugin I use for search called SafariStand. There’s lots of others out there like Inquisitor or Glims, but this is what I use.

Stand lets you do a bunch of cool things, what I like most is ‘Quick Search’. This lets you use custom shortcuts in the address bar to perform a search. So all you do is hit ⌘ + L (to get the the address bar) then type in your shortcut (for the site your searching) followed by your search term. It’s literally 4 keys then enter from anywhere in the browser.

You can make a custom shortcut for anything you can search for on the web.
